Resources for Choral Singers and Soloists
Mozart's Great Mass in C minor (Große Messe in c-Moll), K. 427/417a, is the last musical setting of the mass by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (not counting his Requiem Mass left unfinished at his death). He composed it in Vienna in 1782 and 1783, when he was no longer a church musician at Salzburg Cathedral. The large-scale work, a missa solemnis, is scored for two soprano; tenor and bass soloists, double chorus and large orchestra. It is incomplete, missing large portions of Credo and all of Agnus Dei.

About this recording
Note Perfect has provided recordings for Choir and Soloist. Using the Public Domain scores at the IMSLP Petrucci Music Library. Both scores are harmonically compatible except for one Soprano Solo, where we have found differences in the vocal score. Where we have discovered differences we have supplied extra tracks so that both versions are covered. Differences mainly occur for the 2nd Choir. The vocal score solo at the link above for "Laudamas te" is shorter. We have provided the longer version.
In short, where there are differences between the vocal score and orchestral score at the link above, we have supplied alternatives.
