Soprano Alto Tenor and Bass Solos for Magnificat in D and E flat

Double CD description :-

Both versions of J.S. Bach's Magnificat (in D and E flat) is catered for in this recording. All the Solos, duets, etc for each section the Magnificat is provided in performance order of BWV 243; then an appendix comprising the relevant extra movements in the E flat version BWV 243a (transposed to fit the the D major recording).

SECTION 1
All the solo sections with the vocal parts(s) highlighted on a wind instrument with orchestral accompaniment. The choral voices can be heard played on the organ

SECTION2
All the solo sections with no voices played. Just as the orchestra plays. NB the orchestra sometimes plays the same as the voices, so there can be some assistance.

SECTION 3
Additional tracks of duets, trios etc with one voice removed. EG an alto soloist can rehearse and hear the other parts that she doesn't sing.
