Alto Choir Training for The Creation (Die Schöpfung)

The Creation was composed to be sung in English or German. The way the notes are sung can vary considerably from one language to the other (in places) yet with the same orchestral accompaniment, and for this reason we supply each track twice. Once for the English libretto, and once for the German libretto. For our downloads only, both these are provided for you, so that you can download both versions or the version of your choice - (It is your choice). The numbering varies from one edition to another, our numbering is that of the Peters Edition.

Section 1 (both English and German)
All the Choral parts for ALTO with the orchestral accompaniment. The piano highlights the ALTO voice over the orchestration, The remaining voices are played on the organ.

Section 2 (both English and German)
All the Choral parts with all the vocal parts played on the piano together. This is helpful for identifying the other parts that interact with your own part. Use this to help develop confidence further after learning your part with section 1.

Sections 3 and 4 are the same choral sections as 1 and 2. No 3 has is the orchestral accompaniment with organ assistance for choir, and No 4 is similar but without any assistance for choir this latter can be used for both the English and German Libretto.

(Regard Sections 2, 3 and 4 as a bonus items, and need only to be downloaded once, if other voices are purchased).
